The PGDM program of IIMS incorporates the contemporary academic and practical concepts and seeks to train students to become decision makers, visionaries, and capable of assuming higher corporate responsibility. The program involves classroom teaching, case discussions, hands-on management internship in industry and project work.

Overview

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two years, full time program, which is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The program gives IB i.e International Business as super specialization. The PGDM Program at IIMS offers 45 days Winter Internship and 90 days Summer Internship along with 200 hours of live project.
The Institute offers certification programs in SAP S4 HANA, Bloomberg, CESIM Simulation, Digital Marketing, KPMG Six Sigma, Foreign Language and Business Analytics.

Program Outcome (PO) :

PO1: Apply knowledge of management theories and practices to solve business problems.
PO2: Foster Analytical, Critical thinking, problem solving, Decision making Skills thereby enhancing Intrapreneurial and Entrepreneurial Abilities.

PO4: Ability to understand, analyze and communicate Global, Economic, Legal, Ethical and Technical aspects of Business.
PO5: Ability to work in complex Digital, Global Organizations in the VUCA world, achieving Organization Goals and contributing effectively to the team environment.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO) :

PEO1 : To impart knowledge to develop problem solving, entrepreneurial and technical skills for effective business decision making.
PEO2 : To sensitise students towards professional ethics, values and integrity with a view to apply to business and society.
PEO3 : To impart domain knowledge and skills enabling students to perform in their key functional areas of their specialisation.
PE04 : To develop collaborative , interpersonal and leadership skills in students with emphasis on DEI.
PE05 :To educate students about national as well as international business environment and impart practical knowledge to make them ready for the corporate world.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO) :

PSO 1 : To apply the fundamental knowledge of Management, theory and practice , in their selected area of specialisation, for the professional development of their career.
PSO 2 : To inculcate strong critical thinking , problem solving , decision making and entrepreneurial skills in students , through experiential learning using case study, business simulation software , live projects and internships.
PSO 3 : Develop social sensitivity, values , professional ethics , integrity through various social projects , Rotaract club , extracurricular activities , ensuring their 360 degree personality development.
